AHS managers inspect each plant a minimum of twice a year. The blessers inspect the plants each time they use the plant which can be as often as twice per week. In order to maintain the highest level of review AHS works with local Imams and Muslim community leaders. In special cases AHS has Fatwas from mosques and religious centers such as Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt. Processing and production techniques, (following the practice of Sunah teachings), were reviewed with scholars at the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the worlds oldest Islamic university and research center. This highest authority on Islamic practices issued a FATWA in regards to the processing of chicken.
