A special Fatwa was issued on October 22, 2003 by the Ministry of Justice Egyptian Consultation House, Mufti of Arab Republic of Egypt Mohamed Abdel Alim and Professor Dr./ Ali Gomaa. It states that where chicken is processed is the conventional manner (machine cut) it meets all standards for Halal.
